Available for both interior and exterior glass applications, Joel Berman Glass Studios’ color coatings can be used in conjunction with annealed, tempered, etched, sandblasted, and textured glass. These proprietary processes and material formulations are combined to produce a coating system that exhibits excellent performance in the areas of adhesion, weathering, and colorfastness. Rigorous testing, together with an ongoing quality control program, ensures a finished product that is both functional, and aesthetically appealing.

Standard colors are available, and custom colors can be matched with the assistance of a computerized spectrophotometer system. While the Pantone® color system provides a wide array of colors from which to choose, any color can be created with a few exceptions. Special effects such as dichroic and chromatic color are available, as are aluminum, bronze, silver, gold, and mica pigmenting (view sample). All of the pigments used in the manufacture of Berman coatings are lead free. As the application is craft-oriented, there may be some variations due to overlap or other natural occurrences.

A manufacturer's limited warranty, covering color variations and coating performance, backs the Berman Systems Ambient Spray Coating. Further details on the 2 year Interior Warranty, and the 1 Year Exterior Warranty for approved applications are available by contacting Joel Berman Glass Studios at 1-888-505-GLASS.

Water Soak 21 Days Immersed in Water No deleterious
effects
Heated Water Soak CGSB 110 – 12
2 Hours Immersed in Boiling Water
No deleterious effects

Accelerated weathering testing was conducted on a wide range of colors in order to develop data as to the colorfastness of various pigments. As with all coatings, certain colors prove to be more lightfast when exposed to ultraviolet rays. When mixing colors JBGS will endeavour to use the most stable pigments possible, however some shift in color due to exposure is both natural and unavoidable. For further information concerning any of the above testing information, please contact JBGS at 1-888-505-GLASS.

The JBSG Systems Coating is backed up by a limited warranty for both interior and exterior applications.
